Publisher's summary

A sexy, stand-alone sports romance performed by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin!

A virgin, an athlete, a fake romance, and only one bed in the hotel room...

Following rules shot me to the top of my game as an all-star baseball player, and the golden rule is this - don’t hook up with your teammate’s sister.

But ask her to be your fake date when you desperately need one for a family wedding? Nothing in the guy code against that. Plus, the flirty, feisty Sierra’s my friend too, so why the hell not pretend we’re madly in lust for two days in Hawaii?

No hardship in a make-believe kiss here, a fake smooch there, as long as we don’t cross any dangerous lines.

Then, the hotel books us into the same suite. Which means she’s showering near me, putting on itty bitty bikinis in the same room, sliding into that king-size bed wearing only a black lace cami.

But I resist...until the night she tells me she’s been waiting for me to be her first. And there’s nothing fake about my desire to say yes, even though that’s definitely against the code. But, maybe only if someone catches feelings? And neither one of us will.

Until I do....

Easy to follow

It was a good story. However it was also too easy to know what was coming next. Especially the I have a secret to tell you. The ending totally predictable

A Little bit of everything.

Lauren Blakely has really done it again. Taken some of the best parts of my favorite troupes and mixed them. Brothers Best Friend+Sports Star+Virgin=Hot, Sexy and funny GOLD!

Sierra Blackwood has always spend her years observing, most recently from behind her bar The Spotted Zebra. She has been watching her brothers best friend and team mate Chance Ashford for the past year. Now that her bar is a success she is focusing on herself and a very important card she still holds. As it happens, Chance has found himself in need of a date to a destination wedding in Hawaii, who better to ask than his friend Sierra. Besides being his best friends brother, they have an easy flowing friendship from his time spent at her bar. They each have a favor to ask of each other, perfect timing don't you think? What could possibly go wrong when two friends, take that next step in their relationship in beautiful Hawaii with the emotions of a wedding happening?

And what made this book even better was the brilliant narration by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin who absolultely brought these characters and these words to life. There a special epilogue by Aaron Shedlock as Tom the cat! Thats right ladies and gentlemen, you read that correctly, Tom the CAT!! it is pure Hilarity. Caution: may cause bits of spontaneous laughter for days after just thinking about it.

If you read the characters names and think 'Where have I heard them before?', well you have heard them probably several times over in previous Lauren Blakely books. She has a genius way of intertwining almost all her books together in one giant Blakely-Universe. You have met both Chance and Sierra before, but you do not need to have read those stories. While everything is connected in ways, this is a stand alone book.

Chase & Sierra

I enjoyed the troupe and the back story of their History and cheating exes. I'm a huge Teddy Hamilton fan as well, but for some reason his role on this one seemed more shallow and less convincing in his role of falling for Sierra and a quick 360 on his feelings. I got more that he was in it more for the sex, but that is just my view. Otherwise his voice is still sexy. I liked their banter discussions on plants and Kitties, and Sierra knowing what she wants from a man, and Chases willingness to give her everything she asks for.

I loved the Chemistry between Sierra and Chance

I've been looking forward to Sierra and Chance's story and it was everything I was hoping it would be. I absolutely loved the two of them together. The two of them had an undeniable chemistry. Once they gave in they didn't stand a chance and I knew it was going to be fire.

This may be one of my favorite books in this series. I am in love with Sierra. The woman breaths confidence. She is so empowering. She knows what she wants and she isn't afraid to say it. Chance is one of my favorites also. He is so humble and dedicated. An all around loyal, honest and good man with a very dirty mouth. Sierra and Chance were perfect for each other.

The Virgin Replay had a lot of my favorite tropes in one hot story. We get brother's friend/teammate, friends to lovers, fake date, fake relationship, vegas impulse wedding, sports romance, virgin heroine - and much more. I both read and listened to the audio book which is narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton, who both did a fantastic job bringing so much life and emotion into Sierra and Chance's characters.

I always say that Lauren Blakely is a writing genius. Sierra is by far one of my favorite Virgin heroines. I think sometimes when people think about a virgin heroine they think of someone completely inexperienced and shy; but that wasn't the case with Sierra's character. I loved the way Lauren portrayed Sierra's character because not every virgin is shy. Sierra was a virgin by choice. She held off because of her experiences growing up, but it didn't mean she didn't understand pleasure. She explored her likes and fantasies. She experienced with herself learning her own body. Just because she was a virgin it didn't mean she didn't know what she liked and she found herself the perfect man to explore it all with. It made for some really burning passion. This book was hot.

Oh yeah, this was exactly what I wanted it to be! I really love a sexy hot story that's also a sweet love story. Chance is perfect, he has strong morals and also has a vulnerable side that I adored. Sierra was sweet and fun with goals and dreams. Together these two made perfect sense, they highlight the best in each other. I am not a big fan of adult virgins in my books by Lauren Blakely knows exactly how to write them without it being a big deal and that works so well for me. This book left my heart feeling light and happy and that's pretty much what I can always expect from a Lauren Blakely book. I love a great love story <3

Also I know I say this in every LB review but I love the low drama/angst in these books. There are always so many things in LB books that happen that I think is going to be the predictable drama we see in all book but she always adds her own twist to make it drama free... I mean these characters actually act like adults and handle their feelings and actions with a maturity that just gets me every time!

The narration was PERFECT! I really love both Teddy & Vanessa, they are both incredible narrators and it doesn't matter what characters either of them are narrating, it's easy to forget who they are when they become the characters from my current listen every time.

Love this!

This book is just what I needed. Lauren Blakely has a way of giving me stories that I can easily get lost in, and this one is sweet and fun. Sierra has had a crush on Chance for a long time. Confident in herself, she knows what she wants, and what she wants is to have him be her first. Chance has taken notice of Sierra, but her being his teammate's sister makes her off limits. The bro-code cannot be broken. When a wedding in Hawaii comes up though, he needs a date and brings Sierra. Will this fake date turn into more? Fun, flirty, witty banter, first times and all around good feelings come out of this one. Chance is such a good guy. He takes everything to heart and is extremely caring. I love Sierra's spirit, her ability to say what she wants and how well she knows herself. Plus we get a little glimpse of Grant! It's a wonderful, feel good listen.

Adding to the great story is a fantastic narration team. Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton always bring their A-game and this one is no exception. The real highlight for me is Aaron Shedlock popping in as Tom the cat! Talk about dialing into a character, Shedlock becomes Tom with his aloof, snooty cat personality! He is awesome! This is a must listen!

Best Christmas list ever🔥

Ummm yeah I’m going to need a replay of my first time because holy f* I missed out🔥 I thought Grant & Deck would be hard to beat in the 🔥 but Last Chance Train brought his A game for sure. Sierra is definitely a lucky girl💕

They fall hard & fast only to realize they’ve been falling for a while. I love how their spontaneity makes them realize what they both truly want.

Fave quotes:
‘I’m convinced there’s a special kind of relationship torture waiting for people who cheat and lie. Like, maybe they can never have orgasms again. Or maybe they’re doomed to only kiss people who have wilted-lettuce breath. I certainly hope that’s Natasha’s fate.’—same girl same!!

“Woman.” Chance drags a hand over his face. “We’re going to need more than a few nights to make it through this Christmas list.” Yes, we will. And I can’t wait for all the naughty gifts.—-🔥❤️

“To The Spotted Zebra! All great loves begin here,” the brunette says.’—YASSS💕

‘I’m done with getting in my own way. Goodbye, code. Hello, life.’—freaking finally❤️

Great friends to lovers story!

I love Sienna and Chance together! What started as a fake date turned into a mistake but Lauren Blakely is masterful at turning things around. They're great together but I have to admit that my favorite part was the epilogue by Tom! So true and a fun way to end the book.

A fun addition to the series

I really enjoyed this friends to lovers story. Sure this troupe has been done before but the way Lauren Blakely writes her characters and their stories keeps things fresh and entertaining. As always there are some familiar faces and locations which makes it feel like visiting old friends.

Another amazing addition to the series!

I love that this series flips the dreaded Virgin Trope on its head and instead of offering us innocent heroines, it instead gives readers powerful women who have been too busy for relationships and weren't willing to settle for just any man. Add in hot baseball players and you have a recipe for a really delicious story!

Sierra is Grant's sister (Men of Summer series) and owner of a super popular bar. She has been busy building her business and ultimately is a workaholic. Chance is invited to attend a wedding where his ex will be a bridesmaid, and he can't miss it. Dreading facing the drama post divorce, he asks Sierra to be his fake date. She was already going to be there anyway. Once they arrive in Hawaii, they discover that her room reservation was cancelled so chance offers to let her stay in his suite. Sparks bloom into heat between these old friends. A friendship becomes more and their chemistry is fire.

I loved how this was a quick love story that wasn't insta love. Chance and Sierra have known each other for over a year, since he frequents her bar with Grant, his friend. They had become friends to lovers ultimately even though they don't realize it at first, which was a cute moment in the story.

Narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton, this story is sweet and fun to listen to. They both excellently brought their characters to life in an audiobook that was hard to put down. A fun listen that I highly recommend.
