Do you believe in kismet, fate and happy endings?....then this book is for you! Jo and Heath have a charismatic meet cute and it only builds stronger from there. She has flown the coupe from NYC and is in London for a job opportunity, that just so happens to be the same job he is in the running for too. So now not only do they fancy each other and can't act on it, but they have to work together and create a collection of art to sell at their auction house without anyone knowing their feelings. At the end of the auction, their boss will decide whom she feels is the best for the coveted position. In the mean time, Heath shows Jo his London, and she not only falls in love with the magnificent city but him as well. They spend time together as friends, and discover they have both lost a person they have loved, learnt to let go of certain things they have no control over, and have a great love for books. It's an endearing love story that happens quickly but also feels like they jammed a lot into their time together. Not only will their boss need to make an important decision, both Jo and Heath each need to work out what's best for their future - work and personal wise. The thing I love about a LB novel is her characters are full of life, peppy and live each day to the fullest. Heath was a little out of step with this, as a result of this loss and self preservation but I still loved his wit and for the record, I would buy his book! He does lose his grumpiness and standoffishness the more time he spends with the lovely Jo. They have the happiest of happy endings and I hope there is more of their tale in the books to come.

I adored this sweet, enchanting romance. Jo loves her life in New York, especially her friends, and her job. When she is excited about a promotion, she wasn't expecting that she would have to move to London for it. London holds some heartbreaking memories for her but she is determined to make a success of this new opportunity. Her friends talk her into finding a hot one night stand before she starts her new job and won't take the time to date. Jo is excited at the prospect and even prepares with an arsenal of cheesy pick-up lines. She charms a sexy Londoner one night and they really connect, having an explosive night together. They enjoyed each other so much they want to see more of each other. Unfortunately, when Jo starts her job, she finds out the sexy man is now her co-worker. Heath is a bit grumpy, loves to read, and is a widower. He hasn't wanted to date until he meets Jo. They have so much in common, and their chemistry is off the charts. I loved how they worked together, supported each other, and helped each other face their pasts. I enjoyed their witty and flirty banter, and how Heath helped Jo learn to love London again. Their love for each other is beautiful and an inspirational journey that warmed my heart. I really enjoyed this fun, witty, heartwarming, and sexy story.
