The Virgin Game Plan

It’s a little hard to describe this book because on one hand, it’s a sweet innocent love story with a baseball player and a college senior who is interviewing him for her blog. She has been holding off cashing in her V card until it felt right, and with Holden Kingsley, it felt very right! Then in true LB style, it turns hot and steamy and splashes of humor. The thing I appreciated with this novel was there was no added drama thrown into the mix with this couple’s dilemma. They had real adult issues and it was written with a lot of authenticity. So when Reese Fallon is offered a job that will not only put a hold on her budding relationship with Holden, it’s going to take her out of the country. But it was a job that would give her a lot of experience in her field of expertise. Now, two years later, just when fate has them meet up again, other issues stand in their way of being together. But with maturity, they work through them all and reach their HEA. Holden is very sweet and swoon worthy. He is that guy who doesn’t do hook ups, he wants a connection and to be in a relationship with the right gal. He is a true romantic and can be a little corny but also has a dirty mouth that Reese adored. He is very loyal and has some close friends that take the mickey out of each other and this gives us some fun banter. Reese is the same with her friend network, which only makes them more compatible. LB is going to get the label of epilogue Queen as there are 5… that’s right 5 in this book! And I loved that it came full circle. One of them sets up Grant’s duet books with his tale on how he wins over his lost love with Declan. Not only am I super intrigued with them, but I’m also looking forward all the books coming in this series.

The premise is engaging, inviting and realistic ; the characters are feisty and fun; the romance is captivating and tender.

4.5 Swoony Sizzling Stars! I absolutely loved this fun and sexy forbidden romance! Holden and Reese connect instantly when they first met on a podcast. Their attraction sparked and they started a night of fiery passion. Holden doesn't do hookups and Reese has been waiting for the right man to give herself to fully. They both know that this is it for them both. But when they are forced to separate before they are finished they make plans to meet as soon as they can. But Reese receives the chance of a lifetime that puts her on the other side of the world and she jumps at it. They are both heartbroken but decide to focus on their careers. Years later they meet again. Holden is so excited to have a second chance at the woman who got away and who he has never forgotten. Reese loved her experiences abroad but never found anyone who made her feel like Holden did. Now that she and Holden have found their way back to each other, they are excited to continue what they started. But it all comes to a screeching halt when they realize that her father is his new coach and she becomes off limits. I really loved Holden and Reese together, they respected each other, had fun together and their chemistry was explosive! Reese was so confident and bold, and Holden is everything I love in my heroes. He was so kind, loving and deliciously dirty. There are so many fun and awkward moments but lots of heartwarming and steamy moments as well! I love this entertaining, heartfelt and sizzling romance!
