About this ebook

A week-long trip. A fake marriage. And seven delicious nights with only one bed in the hotel room.

He's my business partner, my good friend, and the man I've craved for years.

But I've resisted the sexy Brit, and I plan to keep up my walls because I've been there, done that, and I know how much it hurts when you let someone into your heart.

Then an opportunity comes along for us to snag the business deal of a lifetime.

The catch?

We need to pretend we're married to pull off this high-stakes deal.

So the clever, charming man with secrets a mile deep becomes my temporary husband, as we travel around Europe. Soon, we fall into bed, tangled together like newlyweds who can't keep their hands off each other.

One week to explore our fantasies, then we return to who we were.

But when I learn the dark secrets he's been keeping, I doubt we can go back.

Because they change everything.

My One-Week Husband is a standalone.

Another fantastic read from the very talented Ms Blakely and if you are looking for an entertaining, flirty, fun read look no further than My One Week Husband. Daniel and Scarlet are friends and business partners who have decided to have a week of fun, travelling Europe whilst pretending to be newlyweds..... what could possibly go wrong you might ask, well it’s all fun and flirty till they fall into bed and realise they can’t keep their hands off each other and maybe this is actually more than just friends having some fun....... A wonderful, entertaining read with witty banter and sizzling chemistry, I loved everything about this book, I loved the characters, the flirting and banter made me smile and the sizzling chemistry had me reaching for the fan but what took this book to another level was the deep friendship Daniel and Scarlett shared and it was wonderful jointing them on their journey from friends to lovers. I guess all that’s left to say is please one click this gem of a read, you won’t be disappointed.

Ever since first being introduced to Daniel in One Exquisite Touch I’ve been dying to learn more about him and get his full story and LB did not disappoint. You do not need to have read One Exquisite Touch as My One Week Husband can be read as standalone. Scarlett and Daniel are Hotelier’s. They are business partners and friends and respect each other immensely. I adored Scarlett. She is a fierce business woman. She likes order and numbers and is intelligent and independent. She loves Paris and the magic of the city. She likes beauty and bright colours. She is protective of her heart after the death of her husband whom was keeping secrets from her but she is intrigued by Daniel and agrees to pose as his wife for a week while looking at their acquisition. Daniel was such a mystery in the beginning. I knew from the glimpses we got in One Exquisite Touch that he had a tragic past. He loves the symphony, women and business. He is good at what he does in the boardroom and in the bedroom. He has a wicked dirty side and has been lusting after Scarlett for not just her body but her mind as well. Daniel is direct and does not mince words. He is insanely attractive and impossible to resist. I adored his softer side that Scarlett brought out in him. This couple could not have been more perfect for another. They compliment each other in the best of ways, they challenge each other and have incredibly chemistry. The way they banter and the dialogue between them is sexy and humorous but also serious when they needed to be. This story is one of LB’s best. It is full of adventure, heart and passion and highly recommend it.

My One Week Husband is Lauren Blakely's latest and it's a good one. This was an enjoyable friends-to-lovers/colleagues romance. While we met Daniel in One Exquisite Touch, it's not necessary for you to have read it to enjoy this story, however it is a great book, so you should pick it up! Scarlett has been hurt in past relationships, so her focus is on her work and her love of Paris. Daniel on the other hand, loves women and music. They've worked together for the past three years and both were drawn to the other from the beginning, but they never thought taking it further was a good idea. Both of them have their issues from the past and while neither one likes to open up, they both see that maybe the other could be the person that makes them share their pain. In order to check out a series of inns that they may want to acquire, the two set out on a trip that has them pretending to be husband and wife. Will close quarters and romantic inns cause them to cross the line they have been so careful not to for so long? I loved that Scarlett was a strong businesswoman who wanted to be right in the middle of the action. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, which is awesome. Daniel had many layers to him, which I appreciated. His backstory made me want to comfort him and the way he cared for Scarlett made me swoon. These two characters, and the book, were entertaining without a doubt.
